Nicolai Heiselberg (born 5 December 2005) is a Danish motorcycle speedway rider. He won the silver medal at the 2026 World Under-21 Championship.

Career

Heiselberg was born in Esbjerg.[1] He reached the final of the 2022 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship.[2]

He rode in the Danish Speedway League for Region Varde Elitesport[3] and in Poland for Ostrów U24 in 2022 and Toruń from 2023 to 2026. His best season in Poland was the 2025 U24 Ekstraliga, in which he averaged 1.889.[1]

In 2023, Heiselberg was named in Denmark's "Future B2" development squad by team manager Nicki Pedersen.[4] The same year he was one of the permanent riders in the 2023 SGP2 series[5] and, on 2 September 2023 in Pardubice, won the silver medal at the European Under-19 Pairs Championship with Jesper Knudsen and William Drejer.[6]

In the 2026 SGP2 series, Heiselberg scored 6 points in Målilla, finished third in Łódź (16 points)[7] and won the final round in Vojens on 11 September.[8] With 42 points he won the silver medal behind fellow Dane Mikkel Andersen.[9]

After receiving few opportunities in the Ekstraliga with Toruń, he was loaned to Wilki Krosno during the 2026 season; in August 2026 he said Toruń had agreed to loan him out for 2027, with no club yet agreed.[10]
